I wouldnt mind it as much if it saved your checkpoint progress but you need to restart the entire level again which is brutal since were trying to beat this on legendary which isnt exactly a walk in the park. We made it through the entire Halo CE campaign with 1 or 2 crash. In fact, many of the series' entries are surprisingly short, especially when compared to some of the campaigns found in other FPS titles. Crashed probably 3 times while trying to do Halo 2 anniversary campaign.

Updated April 27, 2021, by Thomas Bowen: The Halo series is not one that's renowned for its long campaigns, instead focusing on quality over quantity. Halo Infinite is also adopting the popular 'seasons' format thats all the rage with AAA games these days, and the current content pipeline has campaign co-op scheduled as a full title update sometime in Season 2, and Forge will be added with Season 3. Unfortunately, 343 has had to push them back a bit further. This week, 343 disappointed many Halo fans when they announced that Halo Infinite would be launching without both a co-op campaign and Forge mode, which will arrive 3 and 6 months later.
The length of first-person shooter campaigns has been relatively consistent since the release of the first Halo title but there is still some variation in length. A franchise that has spanned almost 20 years, Halohas seen plenty of first-person shooter campaigns, along with a couple of real-time-strategy and twin-stick shooters.
